It is difficult to find a more perfect example of pure cellular (and universal) intelligence than in the formation of a human being. In this Ted Talk video, Alexander Tsiaras shows a medical visualization of the formation of a human life, from conception, to birth.

In life, I believe it is important that we all understand that we are miracles. The fact that we even exist is something truly beautiful and amazing. Life is a gift. It is something to be treasured and protected.

For those of you who have an interest in sacred geometry, it’s fascinating to learn the role of the seed of life in the formation of a human embryo. The ‘Egg of Life’ is a symbol composed of seven circles taken from the design of the Flower of Life. The shape of the Egg of Life is said to be the shape of a multi-cellular embryo in its first hours of creation (as you can also see in the Ted video).

This is a reminder for us to truly savor and enjoy life. Understanding that life is sacred (for me at least) also means we are here to protect and nurture it as we live as custodians on the earth.

Living as a ‘Cell of Earth’ is all about understanding that we are intimately connected to not only Earth as a greater living organism, but also that we are intimately connected to all life everywhere.
