Happy Winter Solstice!

It’s the 21st of June, which means today we celebrate the Winter Solstice and the shortest day of the year. Traditionally, today is a day of re-birth, as the Sun reaches the lowest point in the sky and then rises like the Phoenix to it’s new heights.

The Winter Solstice is sometimes better known as Yule. It marks a wonderful occasion to get together with friends and family for a mid-winter feast, full of delicious seasonal fruits and vegetables.

It’s also a great time to let go of things that have been troubling you during the descent of the sun. As the sun returns with re-newed energy, this is a time for you to focus on new things that you would like to bring into your life.

So, I wish you all a very happy Winter Solstice, filled with abundance and joy. Remember to tread lightly on the earth and live with joy!
